The advisory group for Funders and Grants has been established by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science and is involved in the development of a Danish Grants Database in Statistics Denmark, which also serves at the group’s secretariat.

The advisory group for funders and grants has been established to ensure ongoing dialogue, insight, and involvement of relevant stakeholders in the work on Research Portal Denmark’s grants database and the research grant data included in DST’s “Grants and payments by foundations“. The advisory group serves as a forum for knowledge sharing and strategic guidance. As the integration into Statistics Denmark (DST) progresses, the group will be expanded to include foundations that will, going forward, report data the Research Portal Denmark and Statistic’s Denmark grants statistics, with the aim of establishing a representative forum for identifying and qualifying development initiatives. The advisory group is convened as needed.
